We are The Puffer — a seasonal family-run café and pub, with pop up restaurant nights.
Our menus are shaped by the seasons and seafood is at the heart of what we do.
Food
During the day our café serves top-quality coffee, home bakes, and straightforward plates made well. On Saturday nights throughout the summer, we shift into restaurant mode with the Sea Shack where we serve a seasonal dinner menu built around the best local produce. It’s unfussy, generous food that celebrates where we are.
DRINKS
Behind the bar, we showcase the best of Scotland too – local craft beers, small-batch gins, and a carefully chosen selection of malt whiskies. The bar space itself was redesigned by Banjo Beale for the BBC Scotland television series Designing the Hebrides, blending island character with warmth and welcome at its heart.
We are on the little car-free Slate island of Easdale. It’s just a few minutes ferry journey from scenic Ellenebeich and a wee wander round the corner.
Our address is The Puffer, Easdale Island, Oban, PA34 4TB.
